ok, here is a line from my code, and it says that there is a msitake by dividing by zero, i dont know what to do with it: sngDime = (sngChange - 1000 * intThousand - 100 * intHundred - 50 * intFifty - 20 * intTwenty - 10 * intTen - 5 * intFive - 2 * intTwo - 1 * intOne - 0.25 * sngQuarter) \ (0.1)

its been about 4 years since ive looked at vb, but arent you suppose to define that when you define that variable?

lol, thanks for the replies, btw., i declared the variables before i wrote that. but it really doesnt matter now.. i handed it in weeks ago and still got 90 somehow.. thanks though
