I agree that many Vista features are oddly similar to Mac OS X Tiger.

Yeah, but I mean what about the originality of the new Windows Vista, it is just a copy, and Microsoft is running out of ideas.

I haven't seen it but i've heard stuff about it and to me it just seems like Bill Gaes is after a quick buck now...i mean face it if you see a windows vista and a mac os x tiger...which would you buy?

There are a few things that t has taken from the Mac, but I would still say there are not that many differences. Most of the major changes seem more the direction of computing as a whole, not just Mac. Not every idea in the world originates from Apple.

...Wow you have no idea about the underlying features and background changes that are going on into Vista do you? You think they're just changing the interface?

Wow...Microsoft steals the idea that a graphics card can be used for more than just blitting rectangles.... Thiefs!

Seriously, It's the natural evolution of computing. As the GPU becomes more potent, it's abilities will be exploited.

I am sure when Enified Shader code become the norm you guys will be crying "Simpson's did it!"

I still think Windows cant  compare to a Mac if we are talking of stability, easy of use interface and image/video editing software.

No, he doesn't. Please provide a link if you still feel this is true.

jesus christ is livewire going to turn  into a windows and mac war... who cares people use both platforms for different things....

-- Posted by ricerice at 3:32 pm on Mar. 26, 2006

ive heard that windows is good for business use. but macs are great for media, or any type of digital design. personally, im looking forward to the vista. it looks pretty nice and i hear it runs better. in my opinion i think windows is a better because its constantly getting hacked so that means more security, but its not like i keep n e thing important on here n e ways..

ODDly? I think not, the cheap ass Gate to Hell copied Macs Beautiful OS and made it crappy. Just wait until OS X 10.5 is released, it will beat Gate's ass

I use vista, I wont tell you how though, but it is perfect it should put make down for the count when it is released.  And no it is not just like make in any way.  It still runs like windows, but applications are better, and the visual atmosphere is perfect.
