i guess if they admit they were wrong, and swear on their life they wnt do it agen, yeah. obviously, itll take time to heal, but thats their fault, and thats their trial period

yes. forgive and forget. God can't forgive us we don't forgive others.

I would not forgive them. Through anything. Forgive and Forget wouldn't even be part of my vocab. If they're going to treat you so wrong and they know it'll hurt you then they're not worth being friends with. If they can't push their feelings aside and move on with their life to not hurt their friend then its not worth it.

well, my first love was bullshit...so I couldn't really care...if the did now...well, my fiancé wouldn't...he;s not that stupid, but if they tried...well, friendship over and they can forget about ever trying to come around him again!

theres  always place 4 a 2nd chance... but not a 3rd

as long as you arent with the first love anymore then it shouldnt really matter. if you still had feelings for them then you should still be with them unless they dumped you in which case you should stalk them

It would seriously be difficult for me.  I this was a true friend, she/he wouldn't have been having an afair with my boyfriend.  That's just not the definition of friendship.

I would normally say yes "forgive and forget" but it also depends on how long the relationship was on for and how they ended up (together or in tears), did he cheat on you? If  he did then i would say forget him

Forgiving depends upon the hurt received. when the hurt is deep, it becomes very difficult to forgive.

I think i could. people make mistakes.

u did the right thing and made a mark.. by forgiving her...

I went through the same exact thing a few years ago. I had to see them together all the time...etc., but I held in my emotions and let it be and forgave them both. I later realized that he actually wasn't my first love...but from time to time I think about what she did to me, but she has changed enough for me to let it go. You may never be able to trust her fully but that;s kind of expected. Good Luck with it though...hope it doesn't happen again!

Ok, so I made out with my friend's crush and now she's still doing the semi-silent treatment months later. She has a great new boyfriend now. I've never said I'm sorry, but I feel it is her place to confront me about it. I know she knows I know she knows. *sigh*
