I would date someone in the workplace. If the relationship went bad, I would talk to her, to try to straighten things out, so it wouldn't be awkward at work. That's kind of tough. Depending on how serious it was, and the job. If we really were into each other, and it was a crap job, I would go for it, but if it were a really good job, that paid the bills + bought nice things, I would probably just be friends. -- Posted by Jay JWLH at 12:06 am on May 21, 2006 I have heard of a good case where someone did just that. But I think it was more of a teenagers thing where it was a part time job that if needed, they could leave the workplace if things got too orquard of whatever. I don't know how well you can relate to this situation. 3 question answer: Would you consider dating someone you work with? I would. What would you do if the relationship went bad? Hopefully we would both get over it and continue on working normally. Otherwise I would try and change shifts, or just quit. But if I worked with the girl for years and, based on knowing her for that long, felt like we strongly connected, I’d probably reconsider. -- Posted by bball beanie at 8:04 pm on May 21, 2006 I have never done it but there are people that i work with that are dating, the get along great nothing wierd. There are no legal issues or problems because they work in different departments (cash and grocery). I have never seen them fight they get along great. If there are troubles you can;t brign them into the workplace (obviously) but if you like him/ her then i see no reason that you shouldn't give it a try. if something goes wrong then remain friends.
