What it looks like:

How to add it to your Google page:
1. Click Here
2. Accept the Gadget by clicking 'Add to Google'
3. Click 'edit' on the title bar of the gadget then enter your membername and email address

For Yahoo! Diehards: (it's not quite as cool as Google)

Ooooh, fun stuff.  Is this purely a google thing, or would it be difficult to make it for yahoo?

It's for both Google and Yahoo, but yahoo only allows us to insert the Fresh Topics.

I added it. Seems rather useful.

You know, I never even created a Google Homepage before, but now that I added this and started looking at the other gadgets available, it is pretty cool.

It's only for Google. I don't think Yahoo has created this sort of feature.

Okey doke.  I already added it to google, but I use yahoo more, hence the question.

Thanks for answering me so quickly.

Another great feature David. You've certainly been hard at work!

-- Posted by davjs at 11:25 pm on June 29, 2006

I'm excited about the feature! I hope Google will list it in its Gadget directory as well.

-- Posted by MoonlitEden at 11:25 pm on June 29, 2006

I have to say (off subject, sorry) this "How To" area is absolutely the most awesome thing I have ever seen.

I've added it but never use the google homepage so I doubt I'll see it. Anyway, I'm on here more than google.

-- Posted by ilovecookies at 6:29 am on June 30, 2006

Done.

Wee! Pretty cool. I never really use my Google Homepage though.

VERY nice David!

I don't see that little LW graphic at the bottom of mine... but I like it without it anyway.

I could of swore that one time i was messing with my Google home page and i clicked something with live wire and it did something like this. I think it had to do with fresh topics.

So am I the only person that can't make this work.  It asks for my membername and email address.  I have tried various combinations of email addresses and passwords and membernames in various places and it never works.

What am I doing wrong?

Why did David say to enter your membername and password when it is asking me for membername and email?

David,

I think Mark absolutely loves your LiveWire Google Gadget!  It seems like he's really enjoying it.  I mean, he doesn't ever shut his computer off and therefore, his profile constantly says:  "britishguy is using the LiveWire Google Gadget at ___"

Yesterday, he went over the 100 hour mark of being online!  I don't think anyone is enjoying this tool more than Mark is.  Hehe.
