-- Posted by Hotsun at 2:49 am on July 26, 2006 Im gunna be starting college in september which im really looking forward to but all my close mates are going differnt colleges not the same as me.The problem is I know its only 2 years but im really scared during those two years i going to change like become more stuck up as its a private college im attending. Im scared like when i meet up with my mates they will think god u have changed sooo much! and not know the real me any more. I just got a funny feeling im going to end up like this. i know change is good and will all do it as its a part of growing up. Most of them were nervous about college, and actually ended up loving it. Keep in contact with your old friends and make plans to meet up during the holidays and over summer breaks! Of course you'll change, that's only human, but since you know that you don't want to become a snob, just don't be a snob. It's more of a personal choice. -- Posted by blue child at 6:15 pm on July 27, 2006 Private Colleges don't make you stuck up. I go to a private college and although it has changed me, most of the people are not snobs. It's hard when your friends go to different schools, but just try to stay in touch. College will change you, but hopefully for the better.
