Anyway, I'd really like to build an ecommerce website that was easy for me to use. For example: when I get a new product, I can open some kind of C++, Java, w/e application, put the information/picture/catagory into the proper fields, update my website, and it would be where it needed to be. I do not know if it can actually be that simple, however. Because, all I am skilled in is CSS and XHTML/HTML. I would like someone to either help me with this, or direct me to a book/website/etc that can help me in my quest (I don't have any $ to fork over for this...) Again, with no money in hand (available for this, anyway) I can't pay anyone, but anyone who's willing to help me would recieve medium to deep (depending on level of helpfulness) discounts at my store once it was complete.
