Don't know if this is worth, it. Very simple, but it's good enough that I'm sure other's would try it. "Ramen with Egg" You will need: 1 Package of Dehydrated ramen noodles 2 eggs Measuring cup Water Stove Pot Stove Any additional spices if desired Take the Package of Dehydrated ramen noodles ( Some popular brands include Maruchan, Top etc. Any will do). Break up noodles before opening package if you would like shorter noodles (this can also be beneficial when mixing in the egg). Once you have the noodles the length you desire, place them in a pan, large enough to hold the ramen, and two cups of water. Bring water and noodles to a nice violent boil, turn to medium heat so as not to cause boil over. Crack eggs into bowl, remove any extra eggshell that may have fallen in. Pour eggs into boiling ramen, and mix with a fork, so that the egg spreads through the water as it cooks. Turn heat down a little, and leave to simmer until all the egg is cooked. Add seasoning packet or alternative seasonings if desired.

Pizza Dough Submitted by: Stephen "Makes three hearty pizza crusts. This dough can also be used to make calzones or can be frozen for later use." Original recipe yield: 3 pizza crusts. Prep Time:20 MinutesCook Time:30 MinutesReady In:2 Hours Servings:16 (change) -------- INGREDIENTS: 1 (.25 ounce) package active dry yeast 1 tablespoon white sugar 2 1/2 cups warm water (110 degrees F) 2 tablespoons olive oil 1 tablespoon salt 1/2 cup whole wheat flour 5 1/2 cups bread flour ----------- DIRECTIONS: In a large mixing bowl, dissolve yeast and sugar in the warm water. Let sit until creamy; about 10 minutes. Stir the olive oil, whole wheat flour, salt and 4 cups of the bread flour into the yeast mixture. Mix in the remaining flour, 1/2 cup at a time, stirring well after each addition. When the dough has pulled together, turn it out onto a lightly floured surface and knead until smooth and elastic, about 8 minutes. Lightly oil a large mixing bowl, place the dough in the bowl and turn to coat with oil. Cover with a damp cloth and put in a warm place to rise until doubled in volume; about 1 hour. Deflate the dough and turn it out onto a lightly floured surface. Divide the dough into three equal pieces and form into rounds. Cover the rounds and let them rest for about 10 minutes. Preheat oven to 425 degrees F (220 degrees C). Use a rolling pin to roll the dough into the desired shape, cover it with your favorite toppings and bake at 425 degrees F (220 degrees C) for about 20 minutes or until the crust and cheese are golden brown. Super Simple Milkshake: 1 cup of milk 1 banana Handful of ice cubes. Sugar (to taste - Optional) Simply place all of the ingredients in a blender and mix until smooth (about a minute on highest setting). If you'd like it more frothy add more ice. Try adding: Berries (strawberries, etc.), peanut butter, ice cream (chocolate, vanilla, go wild!), fruit flavored yogurt, fruit flavored syrup (or chocolate), or powdered protein mix if that's what you like! Makes about 1.5 8 ounce servings (one and a half tall glasses). (Edited by JennyColada at 10:02 pm on Aug. 8, 2006)

Shepherd's Pie (Serves 3) 500g of minced meat 1 onion, chopped, peeled 1 clove of garlic, peeled and chopped 2 tablespoons of oil 5 medium potatoes, peeled Small blob of Butter 1tbs Milk I use all the above ingredients and it tastes good but you can also use the following: 1 tin of chopped tomatoes 1 tablespoon of mixed herbs 1 teaspoon of tomato puree Heat the oil in a large saucepan. Add the garlic and onion and fry for about 3 minutes. Add the meat and cook for another 10 minutes, then add the other ingredients (except potatoes, butter and milk) and simmer for another 15 minutes. Whilst this is simmering, cook the potatoes. Mash them with a bit of butter and a drop of milk. Put the meat in an oven proof dish and cover with the potato. Put under the grill until potato turns a golden brown. Corned Beef Hash (Serves 3) Ingredients: 2 tablespoons of oil 1 tin of corned beef 1 large onion, peeled and chopped (I personally think 2 is best, unless the onion is large) Milk Butter 4 large potatoes Salt Pepper Peel the potatoes and chop them into quarters. Place potatoes in a saucepan of boiling water and boil for 20 minutes or until tender and you can stick a knife through them. Drain them and mash with a little milk and butter until it becomes creamy. Whilst the potatoes are cooking, fry the onions in a large frying pan with the oil for about 5 minutes or until they are golden. Open a tin of corned beef and chop it up into small pieces and add to the onion. Heat the beef through which will take about 5 minutes and then add the mashed potato. Fry the mixture until it turns slightly crispy but not too burnt. Add salt/pepper if you would like to.

Cinnamon Buns Serves: 16 servings Calories Per Serving: 552 Preparation Time: NA Difficulty: Average BUN DOUGH 6 cups flour 1/2 cup sugar 2 teaspoons salt 1 cup buttermilk 1 1/4 cups orange juice 3 teaspoons dry yeast (1/4 ounces ea) 2 Tablespoons honey 1/2 cup salted butter; room temperature CINNAMON FILLING 3 Tablespoons corn syrup 1/4 cup ground cinnamon 1 1/2 cups salted butter; room temperature 6 Tablespoon sugar 1 Tablespoon flour SUGAR ICING 2 cups powdered sugar 1 Tablespoon vanilla extract 1/4 cup water ASSEMBLY Flour Butter Directions Bun Dough: Mix flour, sugar and salt in large mixing bowl, using fork to distribute evenly. Set aside. Pour buttermilk and orange juice into saucepan and whisk over low heat until lukewarm. Sprinkle yeast over liquid and stir to dissolve. Pour liquid onto flour in mixing bowl and add honey and butter. Mix and massage everything with both hands until all dry ingredients are absorbed into dough. Dough will be somewhat lumpy and uneven. Place dough on floured board and knead with heel of hand until somewhat smooth and elastic, 10 to 15 minutes. (Warning: If dough is completely smooth, it has been overworked.) Place dough in clean, lightly greased bowl. Cover with clean dish cloth and let rise in warm, draft-free area until doubled in bulk, about 1 hour. (Instead of the one-hour first rise called for in the recipe, the dough can be allowed to make its first rise in the refrigerator overnight. This will save time in the morning if you plan on eating the cinnamon buns for breakfast or brunch. Because the dough will be cold, it will be firmer and easier to work with the next day, but the second rise will take longer, sometimes two or three times longer. Important: The butter should always be very soft.) Cinnamon Filling: Place corn syrup, cinnamon, butter, sugar and flour in bowl and whisk until well blended. (If you make filling the day before you're going to bake, do not refrigerate overnight. Cover and leave on counter until needed.) Sugar Icing: Put sugar, vanilla extract and water in bowl and whisk vigorously until mixture is free of lumps. Assembly: Flour work surface generously and rolling pin lightly. Divide Bun Dough in half. Roll first 1/2 into rectangle 1/2-inch thick, as evenly as you can. It should be about 10 by 12 inches. with spatula or clean hands, spread 1/2 of Cinnamon Filling over surface of dough rectangle, stopping 1/2 inch from edge of one long side. Starting from opposite long side, roll dough up, snugly but not so tightly that you push filling out. When rolled completely, pinch 1/2-inch edge that is free of filling onto rest of length of roll to create sturdy seam. with sharp serrated knife, cut roll crosswise into buns 1 1/2 inches thick, using sawing motion to avoid pressing down on roll. Place buns on baking pan lightly greased with butter 1 to 1 1/2 inches from each other. Repeat with remaining Dough and Filling. Cover buns and let rise until puffy and half again as large, about 1 hour. They should spring back from a light touch. About 45 minutes into this second proofing, preheat oven to 350 degrees. Uncover baking pans and set in oven to bake at 350 degrees until slightly firm and light golden brown, about 15 minutes. Check to see that buns are cooked through to center, but if buns are too brown, they will develop undesirable crust. Cool until warm to the touch and drizzle with generous amount of Sugar Icing. This recipe yields 16 buns. Each bun: 552 calories; 547 mg sodium; 63 mg cholesterol; 24 grams fat; 91 grams carbohydrates; 6 grams protein; 0.55 gram fiber http://www.epicurus.com/food/cookbook/viewrecipe.php?id=1042 My sister made these and said they were really good. I am going to try them soon!

CHICKEN AND MUSHROOM ALFREDO 1 container of your favorite Alfredo sauce 1 lb. of chicken breast skinless and boneless (cut into small squares) 1 small container of mushrooms, sliced linguine noodles (depends on how many noodles you want, purely up to you) 1 t. garlic 1/3 t. season salt -whatever other seasoning that sounds good to you. I swear, no matter what, it will taste great- Put noodles into a pot with as much water as it says on the back of the package. Make sure to do this first so that your noodles and Alfredo sauce will be done at the same time. Throw the chicken into a skillet with a tiny amount of butter just so it won't stick to the pan. Add in the seasonings you want on the chicken. Cook until the chicken is white all the way through. Add in the mushrooms (oh, you can also use canned mushrooms, sorry, I forgot to add that) and the Alfredo sauce. Cook until hot. Throw onto some noodles in a bowl and enjoy. Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm. This will cost you about $7, maybe a little less. Chicken ranges in prices depending on sales, so it purely depends on that. Alfredo sauce is only about $1.20 to $1.50 for a container so that won't add much. Overall, it's cheap and oh so delicious. And as for the time it takes, maybe 20ish minutes. Just make sure you take the chicken out of the freezer earlier so that it isn't frozen. (Posted by MoonlitEden)
