Sort of. I see polytheism as a way of making up one, possibly two gods. They show certain attributes. But the type of higher power I would find it easy to believe in would exist as an impersonal, "glue", spirit, or "encaser" of the universes that exist beyonds the boundaries of time and space. Did you know that it's possible to give a sick person a sugar pill, tell them it's medicine, and make them feel better? It's psychosomatic... if you THINK a supernatural being is helping you through rehab, it's possible that it could actually have a physical impact on you.
