-- Posted by evillsloth at 9:07 am on Oct. 18, 2006 I have my speakers plugged in and i know that they work because i can here the little "bleep" type noise when i click on something, but when i try to play games or music i cant here anything. Also when i go into the sound controll pannel it says i dont have any speakers but i knwo that they are plugged in. Right click on "My computer" go to properties, Hardware, Device manager, sound and audio devices, and see if your card is showing up on the list. You need to get your sound cards CD, or if your sound card is built-on to your mainboard, the mainboard CD. -- Posted by Squee77 at 9:41 am on Oct. 18, 2006 Turn off your computer Reconnect the sound card(if you have one that is replaceable.) Reconnect the wires for the speakers turn the speakers on Turn computer on then voila -- Posted by evillsloth at 9:46 am on Oct. 18, 2006 im sorry i didnt say, it was all working yesterday, and i havnt taken them out, it has just started now and i dont know why, i did get this random error message yesterday and i told the computer to "debud" it, then the computer worked fine but the speakers didnt, and im pretty sure the error wasnt to do with sound
