If any of you follow Alabama football closely you probably know the deal. It looks like now that Alabama's hopes for a decent coach are shot, Spurrier, Saban, Patrino, Shiano, Rodriguez all turned the Tide down. Looks like Alabama will be stuck with a cut rate no name coach from the WAC MAC conferences or from division II.

Most of the people who voted probably are just voting to vote and have no idea about anything that relates to football. Anyhow, I think they'll get a good coach. A better coach than what I think Miami will get -- Miami has several problems with their players and just had an all-around awful season and should not have made a bowl game. Alabama has a good program, good overall talent to coach on the team. I'm sure whoever steps in will do a decent job and lead them to at least only a 3 loss season next year possibly. I'm a Virginia Tech fan, noted.

The poor coach that just got cut, I feel so sorry for him, really. He really did have a big position to fill when he had to take over. =\ Its okay, I'm an Auburn fan anyways.
