God sake. My stupid MsPaint won't let me save any files as a .png Is there a reason?

I click on the drop-down menu, and .png is not there. I've got .jpeg .gif and bitmap, that's it.

No! You guys must not be selecting the correct format, Go to Save, then type in a name, select .png from the drop-down menu

just do it like this: file > save as > picturenamehere.png You don't have to select it..

Type ".png" at the end. Thats how I do .jpg I always forget about the drop down menu.

Don't do it that way. Upload the photo to http://www.imageshack.us and don't forget to check the box for resize and choose avatar. Look at the bottom of the pop up window with the hosting address' and you will find it's a .png

It loses it's color, and seeing as I'm making it for a website, I can't.

Go to File>>Save As..>> Change the file type to "all files", then for the name of the file, enter it and add the file extension: .PNG It is easy. I had the same problem. The only reason your PNG is loosing color is because Internet Explorer doesn't have the correct PNG filters installed. Questions? PM. ALLIEXCHANG.
