I've always wanted to learn a Northern style of shaolin, but because the nearest dojo I can find is in Boston, I stick with Tea Kwon Do

All martial arts are good. It all depends on the skill of the martial artist and not the style.

All martial arts are good. It all depends on the skill of the martial artist and not the style.

Kenpo karate is my favourite because its so realistic and applicable, i teach it though so im a bit biased.

it's not much coming from me, but I practice my own style.  a mix of fluid motion that requires speed and deception.  mix capoiera and kung-fu, and you have a basic idea of my principles.

I also practice my own weapon techniques.  siimply because I understand my movements and apply what works.

as far as striking I'm currently taking Muay Thai. I do occasionaly box, but I like to kick.
