-- Posted by ZenaGirl at 9:15 am on Jan. 18, 2007 OK computer geeks, I need help.  I went to a website and got a notice from my FF browser that I needed a plug-in to use the site.  So I clicked ok. Well this began downloading RealPlayer 10.5. Well near the end of the installation I get a error box that says “Installation can not be completed because an administrator account is required”.  I canceled the install and reboot to my administrator account.  Then I try installing again- but now I get this message: “Set-up decompression failed, possible download error.  Please download this file again or contact your system administrator”. Well I’ve downloaded the file three times- same problem.  Nor can I deleted the program because its not listed in the add/remove program index. And my old RP won't work now either so I have no Realplayer at all.   Rebooting the computer hasn’t helped. It's out of warranty- they aren't going to help. The installer was probably downloaded to there and is now just an incomplete file.
