My CD drive rarely opens on the first try. It usually takes me 10+ pushes of the button to open it. How can I fix this?

On older CD drives, I just grab the tray and pull it out when it is having trouble.

It never leaves, really. It makes a few sounds, and then stops.

Buy a new one, they are relatively cheap, can get a Dual Layer DVD burner for under $90 NZD. DVD or CD readers that don't burn discs are even cheaper.
