I know how it feels to lose a pet you really were attached to. In time perhaps get a new cat and make some new memories...and then you'll look back and remember your other cat and you won't be sad. It just takes time. Although no other cat may be able to take the place of your old cat, you can't dwell on the past and the sadness of losing your cat, you can only remember the good times you've had. I know it may hurt but only time can be able to make the pain of losing a loved pet go away. Perhaps she will come back, and if not, maybe you could get a new one, and give it all the love you can! -- Posted by ivbob2 at 8:04 pm on Feb. 6, 2007 I know what you fell like, i have had a lot of pets i really love run away, and recently i lost my dog, she died, the vet. messed up. i really miss her so much, i cried more for her then i ever did for a person. our pets are our best friends and family.  when they leave it hurts, when they die it hurts worst. i hope your cat comes home, it always helped me to think that they are in good home with nice people and being tooking care of and one day i will see them again.  all we can do is hope and pray good luck
