Same here. That's why I dropped out. I'm now a lyricist.

Erkay. Change your life? Sorry, your post is pretty generic and doesn't really involve many issues other then just "I hate this and that" As well as some symptoms. Do you know why you can't sleep or eat or have problems with motivation? Is it because you hate these things? Or is there some kind of underlying issue that you might need to work out?

nobody cares about the issues and nobody would read it anyways.

I recommend crying, seriously. It lets out all those emotions you've been storing up. It's a relief to let yourself cry. Deaths are always going to be hard to deal with, especially if you spent a reasonable amount of time with someone. you have to let yourself grieve. Let yourself say goodbye. If you have to, just think that they are there, watching over you. Even if someone is no longer with us, we can still talk to them. Just think that they are listening. You need to learn to say goodbye. How important are tests and grades to you? Where do you want to go in life. Studying can be difficult normally. Never mind with what you have going on in your life right now. All you can do is try your hardest and see what you come out with. Do not lose sight of your goals. Why do you feel abandoned? Is it because of the whole boyfriend/friends thing? If it is, it is perfectly normal and completely understandable. Your boyfriend is crap. He's lost you. Do not think you've lost him. He cheated on you, he's not with your time, your effort, your tears, your thoughts. You are worth more than you think right now. Cars in the grand scheme of things are not important. However, I can see why you have included it. It's just another problem on top of everything else though. Try and save some money each week for it. Just cut back on your luxuries. Hopefully it'll take not much time at all. With the mono thing. Your friend is crap too. She should of put you first if you were ill. Especially if you matter to her. Have you talked to her about this? She needs to know how you feel. More people on here than you think care =] *e-hugs*

It might seem that everything in your life is horrible now, but it will get better! I'm sorry about your friend getting killed in the car accident- one of my friends was killed a few years ago and it definately helps to see the school counselor and talk about it to prevent depression. About the problems in chemistry, physics, and calc- I would seriously consider changing your major to something more enjoyable UNLESS you have a definate idea of what you intend to do with this major. If you are suffering through your classes, a science major is probably not the best fit for you. Who is forcing you to take these classes that you do not enjoy or do well in? I would consider switching to business, that is what I did. I started as a bio major, realized I hated it before it was too late, and switched majors to business- marketing with a psychology minor. I am so glad I switched majors and now I love all of my classes! If you feel abandoned by your friends, maybe try to expand your interests and make new friends. Join clubs to get to know more people, and try to make friends with people in your classes. When I am sad going running or to the gym helps a lot. If you work on yourself, people will be attracted to you and you'll make more friends and a boyfriend who isn't a jerk. About the car problems, this happens to everyone. I started crying after I dented my car a couple months ago, but I realize that it is not the end of the world. Stop feeling depressed and fix your problems! Good luck!

Let me just say this: I have been there, and I know its hard to pick yourself up. I spent 2 out of my 3 years at my last university depressed, skipping classes, staying up all night, drinking, doing anything but what I was supposed to be doing there. Those two years, I failed nearly every class. I was a disappointment to my family and to myself. You HAVE to pick yourself up, no matter how hard it is. It is possible. See a counselor on campus, they're usually free. You need to talk to someone who can help you. I did this and eventually transferred to a university close to home so that I could have my family to push me in the right direction as well, and now I'm doing great. If I can do it, you can too.
