i just put my assyment and it says the disk is crupt or something can you please help me get the work off the disk

well i deleted it now hoping i could see it in recical bin.. not there.. looks like ill be redoing it.

is it stored in a data bank in the word file or something

The only thing you can try and do is lightly blow on the floppy disk. Pull the metal clip back and turn the disk from the other side while lightly blowing air onto it. You will be surprised.
