My gf who i've been dating for 2 years broke up because because she got raped, we tried to keep it together, but getting raped really messed her up. She got angry all the time, got drunk and high every night, sits and cries, and she just never really smiled or laughed the same as before she got raped. I tried to help but it just didn't work. Well I didn't cry or anything. And today I was sitting outside with some friends eating lunch at school (we're juniors in highschool) and she walked by and didn't even look at me, she just looked at the ground. So I went up to her and told her "what happened to the girl I loved?" and she replied "she got raped" and walked off. And I broke down, I ran to the bathroom and cried my eyes out, I skipped sixth period and just cried. How could someone do that to her? What kind of person does that? She was such a happy beautiful person and they ruined her life and mine, because i'm never going to be happy. Not until I get her back, the old her. Then some bitch tries to hit on me, what the hell is wrong with people?

It wasn't a mistake. You sit and wait for that person, and they never show up again. Good choice.

What on Earth is wrong with you? You always have to make the most ill-tempered posts on the site. You need some serious therapy.

Wow, that is really sad, I'm terribly sorry for your ex-girlfriend. I'm sure right now, she really needs to be supported and helped, if you could put your feelings aside for the moment and just try to be there as her friend I'm sure it would mean a lot to her. Try talking with her about it, letting her know that she isn't some horribly demented person for getting caught up in such a tragic situation. Hopefully after this time, she'll be able to talk to you about it, and if she is not, just continue to be there for her as a good friend and help her try to reintroduce herself back into the world and rebuilding of her self-confidence, as I'm sure it was destroyed when that happened. It's not that you want the old girl you had back, she is still there. Just going through a very traumatic experience right now which is requiring her to express herself differently externally as she tries to deal with the tumult that is going on internally. She needs help! I wish you the best of luck man. If you ever want to talk feel free to drop a Pm.

Ouch that is heavy. I would try to be there for her, like everyone has suggested. But if she starts lashing at you, or you are getting alot of tension from her, then I would maybe let her be for a little bit, and see how she is after that.
