This is a great opportunity to get free advertising on LiveWire for your website or for the website of someone you know. In exchange for linking to LiveWire from your website, we'll give you reward points every week PLUS we'll give you advertising credits for you to get more visitors to your website or get your message heard. These advertising credits work using LiveWire's AdManager, software that controls ad placement all over this site. In order to earn advertising credits, your webpage must have a Google PageRank of at least 1. Please see the chart below for details. Add Your Website to Start Earning Rewards! http://golivewire.net/forums/validatelinktolivewire.cgi Advertising dollars can be used to display your own messages or advertisements on LiveWire. If your page had yet to be ranked by Google... You would earn 10 reward points each week. If your page had a ranking of 0... You would earn 15 reward points each week. If your page had a ranking of 1... You would earn 25 reward points PLUS $0.50 in advertising dollars each week. If your page had a ranking of 2... You would earn 35 reward points PLUS $1 in advertising dollars each week. If your page had a ranking of 3... You would earn 50 reward points PLUS $2 in advertising dollars each week. If your page had a ranking of 4... You would earn 100 reward points PLUS $3.50 in advertising dollars each week. If your page had a ranking of 5... You would earn 200 reward points PLUS $5 in advertising dollars each week. If your page had a ranking of 6... You would earn 400 reward points PLUS $7.50 in advertising dollars each week. If your page had a ranking of 7... You would earn 1000 reward points PLUS $10 in advertising dollars each week. If your page had a ranking of 8... You would earn 3000 reward points PLUS $20 in advertising dollars each week. If your page had a ranking of 9... You would earn 5000 reward points PLUS $30 in advertising dollars each week. If your page had a ranking of 10... You would earn 7000 reward points PLUS $50 in advertising dollars each week. You can check your page's current PageRank by submitting it on this page: http://www.golivewire.com/forums/validatelinktolivewire.cgi (even if you have already submitted it) It's challenging to increase your site's PageRank, and very few people I know have websites ranked higher than 6. It's important to choose good keywords that match your page's content, have a clean layout, avoid free hosting services like GeoCities, and get other websites to link to your site. Good luck! Rewards will be given out every Thursday at 1am (PST). The first batch has already gone out to 107 lucky members. We are not accepting MySpace links at the moment due to MySpace updates that have blocked LiveWire from verifying the links. Once again, add your website to start earning rewards! http://golivewire.net/forums/validatelinktolivewire.cgi

Are all those point values per week? E.g. if I theoretically had a pagerank of 10, could I earn 7000 points per week?

Are we really that desperate for money here on LW?
-- Posted by dreamweaver at 12:41 am on June 28, 2007
Sweet idea, Dave! I will be working on this asap with my sites. :) I was wondering if there could be a possibility of adding a feature so we are able to keep track of what sites we personally have linked LW to? If not, no biggy... maybe I was just dreaming too big, lol. But awesome idea right here!!

Yes, that's correct. It would astonish me if you had a website that is ranked 10 however.

How is this about money? No money is changing hands. This is about getting more incoming links to LiveWire.

Links = New Members. New Members = Advertising Clicks. Tell me it's about more than advertising. Our growth is almost too big and fast, why else would we need to increase members so much.

Google ranks apple.com and dell.com 9/10 so do not be sad if your page is ranked lower than 9. No, i do not have a guitar and how did you get so many links into your signature?

I would do nothing of the sort, but I would bow to your greatness.
-- Posted by BrokenBelief at 12:53 am on June 28, 2007
One last question. Do I have to renew my link to get my 10 reward points per week? I have the basic myspace.com link up.

MySpace has actually made it very difficult for LiveWire to verify links for two reasons: 1. Private MySpaces. 2. New external link redirection No, you do not need to renew your links, but they must remain on your webpage.

I also found this; googlerankings.com If you have a myspace, geocities, expage, or anything like that... most likely it's not even ranked at all. So it's not even worth the effort to even try to search it on any of these types of sites. Now if you have your own website, such as www.dreamweaver.com (if this really exist, it's not mine), then the ranking system is worth searching your site on.

It's mistakenly telling you the ranking of myspace.com. LiveWire won't be so kind.
