how hard is it to make a game in vb if you dont no to much is it hard to teach you self if you have anysites will you post them for me

What type of game are you planning on making?

Some helpful sites you might want to start reading at are:

GameDev.net and Gamasutra.com.

These tend to teach you industry practices.  I usually try to solve the problem myself first, and if I become too fustrated, I check out how everyone else does it. ;]  Though, I am not a big fan of game development.

My personal opinion is that VB is a really horrible language, so I've never used except for when I was forced to at school. That said, you can use DirectX with VB, and it would be much simpler to do than if you were using C/C++ (though you'd be sacrificing performance and control).

However, I'm not sure if DirectX is quite what you're after, since you seem pretty new to the whole game programming thing. If I was you I'd just Google for some simple tutorials on VB game programming and see what comes up.

now back 2 years a go when i took vb in school (and i was quite good at it too) the best game i could make was solitare
