So I'll be starting sophomore in college in a couple days. I'm trying to get my money together still. Last year I got a loan and had no problems getting it. This year the fucking bastards won't let me get another one for some fucking reason? Something about me not being creditworthy? What bullshit. I'm a fucking college student in need of money. Anyone see a problem with this picture, or can help explain to me what's going on with this creditworthy bullshit?

Well they say my first loan will be deferred on september 6th. It was for 10k. Intrest was fixed on that one, and I'm gonna defer it until I graduate, on sept. 6th. The new loan I'm trying to get is for 8k. With the same company. But they won't let me get it this year. And I can't get loans anywhere else either. That's what really sucks. I'm being denied by everyone. WTF!

it means that you havent paid them back on the dates you were meant to. No credible bank can back you up till you have your debts paid. Try a credit union?

WAIT A MINUTE! So you mean I have to defer my previous loan first right?!

it means you HAVE to clear your 10 grand + interest loan before your current bank will even giving you another loan. HOWEVER if you've been paying your bank back sum by sum steadily and without any fuck ups i dont see where the problem in you getting a second one, it would mean higher charges and proving you could meet these charges with a sustainable source of income.

But dude, I'm not planning on paying the loan company back until after I graduate. I'm gonna defer it. And that's scheduled to happen on sept. 6, coming up. So I think you might be correct, and it makes sense now why I'm getting denied for everything.
