Okay, so my school hates it's new gradebook and attendance system called ProgressBook, similar to Lettergrade. I am looking for MySQL and php coders to help design a new one. If my school likes it, we will get paid BIG ass money. =] So if anyone is interested... PM me.

Listen mate, I don't want to burst your bubble but a kid with no computing background is almost certainly NOT going to get ten thousand dollars just right off the bat. I will personally guarantee that this project will not succeed; do you have any experience in Systems Analysis? Systems Design? Project Management? Q&A? If you'd like the support of experienced coders who are certainly worth their salt, I would strongly advise that you initially launch this as a pro bono venture. I think I'll call bullshit. People don't just give away ten thousand dollars for crap software that's going to turn out with five hundred thousand bugs, be unmaintainable and all-round deficient. Also, why the fuck are you appointing what technologies you're going to use? Show me your Systems Analysis. It's blatant obvious and amateur to decide what technologies to use before you've even begun. That is not how professional software is developed. Sure, they might pay you but it will come back to haunt you, and chances are they're lying. What are the advantages of using sqlite against MySQL? Why not Perl rather than PHP? Apache? lighttpd? *nix server? As I said, I'll be thoroughly interested if you cut the bullshit about money and license the final product under the GNU GPL. And stop being so goddamned audacious.

Incase you aren't aware, my school district is loaded. They will be more than happy to have me design a base program. Don't give me your bull shit.

You haven't addressed any of the potential issues that I outlined. Could you please provide evidence of your claim, then? Prove me wrong. In any case, I think it's terrible practice to start talking money just like that...
