Seriously, quit your bitchin. If you aren't smart enough to deal with algebra, then you shouldn't be let near computers anyways.

You need maths for everything!

What exactly did you have in mind...? What kind of career you talking about, specifically?

Especially algebra. If you can't figure out something as simple as 7x - 1 = 34, you're a failure. More specifically, you'll probably do some decent algebra courses in IT to learn some encryption methods. Probably some linear algebra (matrices).

So, THATS what we're supposed to use Algebra for? That's all I really need to know.. how algebra would affect my job as a Network Admin.

Basically keyboarding or numeral codes is all that has to do with an IT career.

Basic network admins need some algerbraic skils but not much, maths is a important subject for things like, subnetting and supernetting etc. but otherwise, very little actual algebra. To be a good network admin you will need good logic skills, etc which is exactly teh kinda thing that algebra helps build

programming uses a lot of algebra, computing ip addresses, computing time complexities, etc.

We have two sides for our brain. The Right Side and the Left Side. The Right Side of the brain is mainly used for : Art Literature Creativity Music Entertainment Painting and Many More. The Left Side of the brain is used for: Mental calculation. When you visit a bank we calculate interest on the bank deposits. When you go for shopping you calculate mentally how much the salesman needs to return to you after you have paid. Online schools | Online universities
