Seems entirely self interested. I mean I can understand when a post breaks all rules, but have you noticed that there are some SLs that 'moderate' their own topics more then that of others? Why do this? Not only does it show that you're a pretentious protective cunt, but it also seems like a tad of power abuse from my end. It's self-favouritism. I've having a hard time describing things right now. Now I wait by and see all the people who're going to calamity and busting nuts as they claim they don't.

I have seen it happen, and I agree. If I have a problem with a post in my topics, I have two other SLs remove it for me. SL Remove Group.

I'm guessing this is focused on me. I only do that as I view my topic for a few minutes and check back on it now and again, Whereas on another topic I'll be on it for 1-2 mins max. After that, I have no idea whats posted.

I never start topics. Isn't me. :-P

I don't really care about it, but in my topics I would only vote to hide violations of "black and white" (lolol) rules like saying go kill yourself. Nothing borderline because of the possibility of conflict of interest.

I hate to be the predictable one, but I haven't ever voted to hide a reply in my own topic. It seems to biased to do that.

Nah man, I've put you under 'one who edits their posts so they can justifying deleting posts they don't like' heading.

Wow you are not messing around. 10 topics? Jeeez

I think it also has to do with the fact that they're paying more attention to their own topics-- which is uncontrollable as we wait to see what the rest of LW has to say. *shrugs* But I have seen some SLs abuse their powers within their own topic and vote to hide something they feel is not helpful in the sense that it's not exactly what they're looking for, ya know?

If it's a black-and-white issue, then I'll delete. I mean, if it's that obvious... If someone else votes first, and I agree, then I'll delete, because obviously someone else thinks it's out of line. I tend to treat them the same, really. I very rarely hide posts. Most of what I report is images to replace posts, which we can't delete for.
