So, What job do you have while you are at college? What do you honestly use the money for?
-- Posted by XoUnf0rgettableOx at 1:30 pm on Nov. 14, 2007
I work at a Pediatrics office in the billing department. I use my money to pay my car payments, gas, insurance, phone, college tuition, books, and coffee.. lol

Don't have time to work, full time student. I use all the money I get for, food, sometimes a few clothing items, and mostly gas money to see my bf.

I write papers for the big dumb football players for 15 bucks a page.
-- Posted by iwashere85 at 1:32 pm on Nov. 14, 2007
My Answer: I try to put a percentage away for tuition, then I use the rest for gas, new clothes or supplies I may need, food, rent, etc.

Office Assistant -- pays more and I love it. Computer Tech Support -- better pay more next semester or I am leaving. Why do I use the money for? Well $225... about one weeks pay goes to a car payment. The rest I pretty much save... Factor in your average refueling costs... about $100-$150 depending on how much driving I do in the month. Then you know buying food and what not, snacks here and there. But I feel I save more then I spend... because I want to move out to a sweet place of my own in 2 years. I like having money and not living check to check.

I'm an 'IT Repair Technician', and whilst I was still at school I was the same - part time.

DAMN. That is a sweet job. Good money and you're helping yourself become a better writer. Just make sure not to get caught though.

I work at an after school and holiday club. Great pay, experience working with children and it's really fun too. I spent the money on general living, bills, money for my mum etc

I'm jobless at the moment, but I was a chef working part time on saturdays sundays and friday nights. It paid well.. and I spent the money entirely on train fairs, which is why I quit LMAO.

Office worker for the women's studies department. I make $10 an hour, which is great. However, when I was hired I was told I'd be working 8 hours a week. At training, I was told that it would be 5 temporarily and that they'd add hours. Last week, they told me they could only have me working 3 hours a week. So yeah. It sucks. And it's so late in the semester that there are no other job openings and I don't have a car to find work in town. So, making $30 a week, I don't really have much to spend my money on!

I work at Boathouse, it's a clothing store. I'm a key-holder there so I have to open sometimes, close mostly, do returns, check off stock, look at some cool clothes blah, blah, blah. I use my money to pay rent, buy my food, and buy every type of art medium under the sun. Oh, and big pencils.

I work at the airport. I make between $200 and $600 per week. The money goes towards car insurance, fuel, books, food, and paying off a small loan.

My grandfather pays for my education and college-related living expenses, but I work as a babysitter/nanny twice a week to pay for excess things like our dog and unexpected costs.

I get paid to pay people, sounds quarky, but it's true! I enjoy it, and I come across alot of interesting people.
-- Posted by AthenaRuth at 2:48 pm on Jan. 10, 2008
I only get paid like $15 dollars a week because I am a notetaker getting paid $5 an hour an I only work two hours per week. So I use that money for food and work temporary jobs when I can so I might get $50 a week and use the money for rent.

i'm a preschool teacher to earn my college hours for my teaching degree, run my own company, and fix computers etc. The best is ppl that don't want to sell their books or don't want to handle it I sell their books. Great money. Then I bank the $$$ in CD's and bonds to pay my tuition when I'm done with college ... I will be debt free when done with college ... hehe with a new car or truck and enough money to go on 21 day cruise.

I work at a clothes store, get almost $8.00 an hour. Yeah, the pay's not that great, but I make do, it's my first job. Anyways, I spend the money on clothes and stuff for college. Spent the last few months saving up for a new laptop.

I am in something called the CoOperative education program - I work full-time one semester, then go to school the next. I do this for three semesters. It is at a company called Adtran, which sells networking equipment. It is in a field related to my major: computer engineering. I earn a very good wage from this company. While I do earn scholarships, it completely pays for my college education. I use the money to pay tuition, books, and some meals. I have no student loans. I also work a little on the Internet to earn money. Right now I am working at a forum/learning site to try to learn to become an Affiliate Marketer to earn some extra money. Two college students are in charge of this forum. They started Affiliate Marketing 5 years ago... today they are millionaires! This can be done by anyone... if you'd like to try, just send me a PM... Good luck!

I work online right now.

Well I was working at K-Mart on the weekends, and using that money for my bills, but since they give me shit hours and I hate putting up with all the nonsense over there (nobody wants to apply themselves except for a few people. Our own Front End Coach walked out of the store a few hours early for no goddamn reason)...plus school is just so much more important, that I'm quitting.
