Mmmm, we need it. With horrible timing, each copy of the ehelp could be deleted or replied to before deletion. I don't think it would be too hard to come up with a standard that all SLs are informed of so the situation can be dealt with easily. Save the earliest or latest? Account or Guest? Message a mod or vote to delete?

If they are exactly the same (account wise as well) - Remove the latest. If one is a membername and one is a guest - Remove the guest. If one is anonymous and one is a membername - Remove the member name. Feel free to message an eHelp mod anytime if you think a eHelp needs removal.

In my opinion, request the one with less relevant and helpful eHelp replies to be deleted. Eg. Someone reposted their eHelp because their original got 'forgotten' (can't find an.. apt term) about. If you're using a group or messaging SLs to help you out, specify which one, so they don't go voting to delete whichever one, and make a mess of it, as well as give reasoning. Messaging a mod, just give us all the duplicate posts. Other then that I agree with what the Prof has stated. If the membername is avaliable you can always C&P the info they recieved in whatever duplicate eHelp you think should be deleted and send it to them if/when that eHelp is deleted, that way they aren't actually losing out on valuable information. Unfortuately for guests and anonymous (as always) it makes continued support much harder. But that's a perk of posting usernames.

I think there needs to be a policy. I don't care what it is, either what Jesse or Ross said, but some kind of guide would be great. :P HEY, The Sl guide!

Well, if I see a duplicate, regardless of whether it is the latest or not, I delete the one with no replies. Or, if the eHelp is slightly different, delete the one with the least information. I'd say it's easiest to message a mod, because we can get it done fast, and then there is less confusion about who's voting to delete what.
