Now, I understand that everyone has lives, but it seems that the eHelp system has been becoming a little neglected lately. So I suggest this. From now until christmas, I will give you an extra 5 points for every quality eHelp post that you link to in this thread in an effort to get the shockingly high number down to zero before christmas day!

Think we can do this?

Couldn't you have made this topic like a day earlier? haha.

If you want more attention and activity from your topic, you can aways make it into a contest:

Because of the short time given in this instance, perhaps making this particular topic into a contest isn't the best idea, but i personally think the idea about trying to get flashing ehelps down is a good one, perhaps the time limit could be extended until the new year?

I agree. I think this should be extended to getting them down to zero before new year's day.

It's a litte short notice right now, but I'll get working on them anyway.

I was under the impression that Contests have to be open to all members.

I was not aware of this condition.

I'm sure the contest manager would have denied the request for this topics to be made into a contest anyway, so there's no worries here.

Do you want us to post our replies here?

Here's my first one: http://www.golivewire.com/forums/ehelp-read-response-9459.html#replies
Second: http://www.golivewire.com/forums/ehelp-read-response-9539.html#replies
Third: http://www.golivewire.com/forums/ehelp-read-response-9563.html#replies
Fourth: http://www.golivewire.com/forums/ehelp-read-response-9570.html#replies (not sure if that counts; very straightforward answer)

eh, and it's not really a "contest" anyway, in the sense that there is no clear cut winner. Everyone wins. :D

Exactly.

hithere, it's just a topic that's a bit of fun where ehelps can be knocked off along the way, it's nothing to fret over.

I believe the OPs intention was to try to get us motivated to tick off ehelps slightly quicker and i think this works as a good idea for it.

Unfortunately though, due to this not being an official contest, any points said to be given, don't have to be given.

-- Posted by Bubbly at 2:41 pm on Dec. 23, 2007

Though they will be given hehe! 10 points heading your way branflakes, for two replies and Black Sheep, 20 points heading your way!

The numbers have already gone down! There's just a few that have been sitting a few days left!

-- Posted by Mieux at 2:49 pm on Dec. 23, 2007

Only 16 new eHelps left. Keep it up guys! :)

Only 4 on my page. =(

-- Posted by Bubbly at 7:11 pm on Dec. 23, 2007

3 on my page, but even if we get the numbers to zero, lets go into the old ones and give the more recent ones a few more responses! Just because the topic isn't new anymore doesn't mean people don't still need help!

-- Posted by Mieux at 7:13 pm on Dec. 23, 2007

No, you guys aren't thinking of the same thing that I am. I'm talking about the eHelps that need two replies before they get bumped out of the eHelp Requests list.

There are 11 now. All with one reply each.
