I am just wondering why we really have this forum... As someone in another thread said, this forum is not used much at all. Then there is the fact that people take the test to get in here and then they go back to typing like idiots again anyway. Avoiding the l33t is exactly why we come here but it is here anyway. So Livewire, I ask of you, why do we have this forum?

It is a forum where people can write in complete sentences and discuss topics maturely. LOL I just said that?

And then when someone does make a topic in this forum, nobody responds.

I know, but when people come in here to post, half the time it is like they are posting in the regular forums.

As LiveWire's newest Intellectual I am proud of the fact that I can access this forum. I see it as a place to get away from all the ridiculous low brow filth that often plagues the other forums.

You are very idealistic. You'll see through that nonsense soon

Well, that really isn't the case. This forum is hardly used. In fact, I think I've only made like 3 topics at most in here, and that's borderline pathetic. Usually the religion and philosophy threads aren't so bad either... N*

Correction, LiveWire's *second* newest Intellectual, if not more by now. Hah sorry I felt I had to say that, I get a little excited over things like this. To be honest, I never even knew about is forum until today. But I do plan on posting here more often.

Yes at some point in life its natural to think, Why am I here? Who am I? What does life mean.

I know some people misuse the intellectual forum but it is quite nice in the respect that you don't get the point-obsessed coming in with inputs like 'I don't know.' Most people at least try to string a sentence together in this forum.

Its a forum where people can at least have a chance at getting better answers than the other forums

I often ask why you are here as well. As for why this forum is here, it really is a good idea. All it needs are a select group of people to actually care about its use and use it for it to become more vital. The same sort of situation existed in Yore before several people energized it with a little clever, appropriate spam.

Just like the LiveWire Members of Yore Forum, why do we have that?

I often wonder the same thing.

The fact that it's actually called The Intellectual Forum, and the sheer feat of your qualification for it, should clearly answer your question.
