hi well this is a really stupid question but when ur in college do u get summer vacations like high school or anything or even at all???

-- Posted by c j at 12:12 pm on Oct. 9, 2004 yes you get summer breaks, unless you choose to take summer courses. also, you get the usual holiday breaks and a thing called winterm which is when you get basically the whole month of january off. when most people go to other countries...etc.

My school has basically the same breaks as high schools: We only get about 2-3 weeks of winter break and a week for spring break, but we end the same time and start about 2 weeks after they do...so technically we're in school for 2 weeks less. But some schools get up to a month and a half off for winder break and a few weeks for spring break. It all depends on if you're on the quarter or semester system and how long your classes are and when you start school.
