Here is the full story. EDIT: What I'm saying is that MySpace copied the idea of the open source applications. I didn't mean to start a back and forth war of which is greater. Anyway, what I'm wondering is: What are these written in? Java? C++/#?

Everything copies everything else. The successful ones are the ones who do it better.

Myspace was out first, Facebook copied them. Java and C++/# is a programming language used to design and build applications.

Even though facebook is smaller, I still like it so much better. Less fake people, less spammers, no crap that takes forever to load on every page.

That means shit. Myspace was copied by Facebook, Myspace copied Facebook. That's it. They came up with the complete website idea and was copied, this is merely an application.

It's not really "facebook" that's doing the top friends thing. Anyone can make an application on facebook. Someone liked the myspace idea and THEY copied it and made it on facebook.

meh, what does it matter? The only reason for it is to talk to friends. I'm not too bothered about what site copies what. Although i'll admit, i did notice.

I wish myspace would be myspace. Facebook be facebook. Myspace added the status thing... which my status is now "why is myspace acting like facebook" haha.

Where do you people get the idea that MySpace was first? The site was started when they stole the email lists from Friendster, and broke away to form their own site. MySpace is far from original. It is probably the gayest site though.

hahah, im not saying its original, im just saying that it should stay the way it is...let facebook be facebook, and unless a change is needed for faster use, or upgraded codeing is needed...keep it the way it is...
