Who the fuck would want someone with a mental maturity of a six yearold as a parent? I wouldn't. Poor kids who have to have six yearolds as a parent?

yeah, it's probably not a good idea. Mainly b/c they really wouldn't be able to properly care for a child.

They are allowed to. However, part of the adoption process is proving you are capable of supporting a child. If they can't pass, and most mentally disabled people would not be able to, then they don't get the child.

It isn't like buying a puppy.
