So me and this guy are getting kinda serious.
He knows that I have a past that includes A LOT of drugs.
I told him that I quit and have changed my life around. I just kinda left out that I still do take pain pills and smoke weeds once in a while when my back acts up.
I am willing to completely stop smoking weed, but I don't know if I can completely stop taking pain pills.
Am I wrong for not telling him this? I really think this could affect us having a relationship and I'm worried

im sure as long as you're honest with him, he'll appreciate your honesty and the pain pills won't be a problem. talk it out with him. maybe he can help you quit the pain pills if you don't need them.

I don't know if the pain pills will be fine though. I'm talking about morphine and very strong pills that effect me. I mean I am abusing the pills for a high and not just always my back. I know I shouldn't, but sometimes I just want to get so messed up that I don't care about anything for a while.

I know I can quit doing it all. I mean for a while there I was using Meth, Weed, and Crack. I have realized what drugs do to people and I know I need to stop Weed and Pills now. I just start to feel so guilty about not telling him yet and it makes me want to use.

I know, it's just that he has so many problems lately of his own that I don't want to pile this on with them.
I just wish I could make it all go away and never had started!
Even talking about all this just makes me wish I had a handful of pills and a joint!!!

if you tell him, he might give you an ultimatum to stop taking. and you have except that, so when you tell him, you need to be ready to stop. i know you can get drug treatment locally and try to work on your addiction.. those pills are extremley addictive, and your life would be much better without them once your past the withdrawl phaze.
