To all support leaders.
Have you ever actually reported a post because it was in the wrong forum, even though you can do it by yourself anyway?
I just had a interesting thought about that.

Haha, you can report it?  I didn't know that was one of the criteria that you could choose for reporting...  Lol, is it an, "I'm not sure if this is moveable" kind of thing, or was it probably just put there by accident?

I'm tempted to report this post just for the sake of trying it out :P

No, If i don't know where to put it I'll just link it to one of the groups and ask. Then someone else can do it.

I've seen Wrong Forum reports from SLs, yes.

Yes, I have.  I've done it a few times when the OP is a well-known rude member who thinks they are on some pedestal or whatever, and I know they will pitch a fit if a support leader moves it (people like Anthem, Bandit, or Thriftweed, for example).

Oh, and I also report other support leader's topics if they are in the wrong forum, because they could easily just move it back (and they're less likely to do that if a mod moves it, I've found).

And of course, there are those topics that I KNOW don't belong in the forum they placed it in, but I'm not sure where to put it exactly, so I'll just report it instead.

Yeah if I'm sure it doesn't belong in that forum but don't know where else it really fits. I've done it less though, since a mod gave me a different view on it.

I used to do that with SL topics, but if they're not a noob I realized I can just message them asking if they meant to post it in that forum, and then they can move it if they want.

Wow, those are ugly sentences.

No I've never done that. I just trust my best judgement, if it isn't right then it isn't right.

Even as a mod, I sometimes do it. Generally if it's some game or tech thing that I'm not sure where to put.

I always move them myself, makes me feel special :P

If I don't know where the topic belongs, I post the link in the quick hide group. Someone normally knows where it should be.

If I'm unsure as to what forum it belongs in (but knw that it doesn't belong in the forum it's currently in), I'd report it.  Otherwise I'd just do it myself.

The only time I have done that is when it is in the wrong forum, and needs to be trashed.

Like, if it was "hey guys, I am bored, lets have cyber" and it was in the depression forum. I would not move it, but I would report it (for requesting relationship)
