Ok so to make money in a way that will allow me to move around with my Navy man and have enough study time, I decided to become a Passion Parties consultant (it's a direct sales company that offers adult novelties). I got my tax refund and decided to pump a chunk of it back into my business by purchasing a domain name and upgrading my company website to offer a shopping cart (the free one they give you is basically an e-card).

It's up and running now. What are some ways that I could advertise it online though? (Other than Craigslist?) I don't want to violate any site's TOS so Myspace is out and I just don't feel that I'm getting much flow from Craigslist.

What's a girl to do?

Step it up to a search engine like google ads. they plug them into web sites all the time. Plus you can have them on the search results when they type in certain words.

i know certain words cost more per month then other but its worth a shot.

Google Adwords, it can get expensive, and you pay per click through. Do some research on it first though, if you do not do use the correct keywords/etc then you will end up paying money for click through's  of people that are not intending to buy anything.

Personally i'd recommend opening your own business over selling products for a company. I did, and part time i'm making $50 an hour.

Selling sex toys, lube and a variety of other things isn't my final stop. I eventually want to head my own design firm. I'm in school now working on my interior design degree but in the mean time I need something very flexible.

You'd have to ask a moderator, as it does link to an age restricted product.

Here are several ways you can try to advertise your site:

Article marketing is where you write an article and submit it to an article directory.  This directory can get your article listed high in the search engines.  You just add your website link to the author bio box of that article, and you have a lot of potential people coming to your site.  EzineArticles.com is one of the best article directories to try this with.  Make sure also that your article focuses around a search phrase that people will type into Google.  You want to make sure that this search phrase also doesn't have too much competition.

You can also try to create a video that is somewhat related to the products you sell.  Upload this video onto a site like YouTube (and several others) and include your website link inside the video.

Also try creating a squidoo lens (www.squidoo.com).  They do well in getting you ranked high in the search engines.

If you are really serious about this, I recommend you check out Wealthy Affiliate, as they tell you several ways to succeed in selling products on the Internet.  The owners of the forum started out in college selling products (affiliate marketing) and are now millionaires.

Good luck!
