Or do they think that even my germs are so insignificant compared to theirs that there's no chance that anyone will get sick from them. My mom is sick and she said she won't go to church tomorrow because people might catch whatever she has. That is so BS. Because so many times have I been sick they still made me get up and go to church. And not only that but one time when the whole family including the extended family wanted to go to the snow I was sick and I told them that I'll just stay home because I knew they really wanted to go. But they said that if I can't go they won't go. And of course if I say that I'm not going it'll be my fault that they missed out on all the fun. And the same with the week after that. I was also sick. But I couldn't make them look bad so I still had to go out. And on both occassions we were with a little baby who was fragile. His temperature just goes up a little bit and already gets a seizure. But they didn't think about that. UGH! What is wrong with me that people think that I'm so little and unimportant. Or something. I don't understand. Only when I do something wrong that'll make them look like bad parents they're all up in my face and telling me so many reasons that I think they just probably made up as to why I shouldn't do that anymore. But just as long as I do what they say they it's like they don't care what happens to me. Just as long as what I'm doing doesn't make them look bad. UGH. I hate it here. Why is it like this?

No, I'm fine with going to church. It's like my mom's is the only one allowed to stay home because she's sick. I just feel they're not giving me any importance. I'm just here to follow and do what they say.

tomorrow when you head for church and your mom's sittiing around tell her she needs to get her butt out of bed. god's waiting. and if she whines, refer to those specific situations when you've been sick and had to go to church. either she will agree and get a taste of her own medicine, or she'll give you an answer as to why they do this to you. i think it's cuz your young and ideally supposed to be stronger.

I don't think that's it. She knows I have a low threshold on pain and being sick.

I'm just so tired of it all. I don't complain out loud but sometimes I have had enough.

its just one of those things you have to deal with the horrible angsty thing being that parents just dont know what they're doing

And then there are those times when they forget about what you did for them and accuse you of being selfish when they did the exact same thing!!! But I guess you're right.

i know how you feel - it seems like everyone else is more important - but they arent. you are being a great sport for going on along, to make everyone happy- but remeber put your health before others happiness. you cant change your parents- you just have to learn how to deal with them, and at this point you seem very smart- you know what's up - so dont mope around about your mom. dont get in her business, stay in yours. if she doesnt want to go to church, its her thing. you gotta, so go. p.s. this is very important for later in life - put yourself first!!
