There is this summer program for the college I am attending where i would go to the school like a month before freshmen orientation week begins and i would take two classes and meet my roommates (i would be staying in a room with two other people) and we would basically do fun stuff around the city that i am going to be in. I just wanted to know if anyone had ever done anything similar to this and if they would recommend it.....

I haven't, because well, I'm still in high school. Sounds like fun though.

I would go if you know your roommates are going to be there to start to get to know them.

I haven't---but I've known people who have. It's always a good idea.

I know tons of people who do that. It seems like fun, I would do it. But I have shit to do this summer. It's a great way to get a heads up on your courses and maybe finish early. Good luck.

we had to do something like that, but we didn't get to meet our roommates there. It was more like orientation.
