Okay....so I drank tonight. (I'm of age). I also drank Friday and Saturday...approx. 3 or 4 glasses of whiskey and coke....all of those nights.

Well a couple of hours ago before bedtime, I got a massive headache. It was hurting so bad I wanted to cry. So stupidly, I took three ibuprofens...I know; I shouldn't take medicine while drinking....well, I think something is happening to me.

I talked to my bf on the phone and felt sorta sick at my stomach...didnt think anything of it. Well the pain only got worse as I tried to sleep. Here I am at 3:20am and my stomach has sharp pains and I'm freaking out.....I read the bottle about ten minutes ago and it mentioned something about stomach bleeding....is this a possibility right now????? Please help.

I don't know really. I usually take two or three Advils with my alcohol so that I don't have to bother with pain from my kidney. That never killed me.

a tale tale sign of stomach bleeding is black stool.

if u have black stool, eat some cheese, with cig tobacco wrapped in it. (it helps ALOT!!)

Black stool also means an ulcer.. Ibuprofens cause them, as with spicy foods.

Call ur doc tomorrow and make an appointment.

I have an ulcer, so I know how to make it better

if u have milk, drink it. it will calm u down a little too. warm it up if possible.

You should really eat something when you take ibuprofen to begin with, as it is known to cause ulcers. Just so happens to that alcohol does the same thing. So I recommend eating some bread, toast it if it helps. Drink water as well. If you don't get better within an hour or so... then you should start to worry. But hopefully by then you'll be asleep and over it.

ER, Urgent care isn't open all hours of the night.

Call Poison Control  1-800-222-1222

Follow their advice, more then likely they will tell you to get to the ER.

Puke, then eat... (Force it)

It can cause stomach ulcers and stomach bleeding, if your puke comes up a blackish tar color. Then you need a trip to the ER. If not, just eat something and you should be fine.

(Its the best way you'll know.)

You really shouldn't take medications with alcohol in your system your organs, liver, kidney's, and heart are working to clean all the toxins from your system when you take meds they become overworked and can't cope analgesics like you mentioned need time to be cleaned out as well as the alcohol. The best thing to do is drink lots of water to help in the process you are more than likely dehydrated from the alcohol anyway. If you have to drink alcohol in the future try eating some food first "very important" and drinking lots of water before during and after you consume alcohol which is also "very important" if you follow this the chances of having headaches and nausea are greatly reduced. But always remember to be careful not to take any meds while alcohol is in your system and if you must then drink lots of water.

And if you are afraid of puking...I don't know. Do you want to call someone for help? Like your best friend or something?
