At GoDaddy.com, I wanna purchase a .info domain name. It's $2.99 for one. Is it per year though? Or monthly? They don't have a marker for it like all the other domains they offer... :/

Per year, and make sure it's not one of those deals that require multiple purchases. You will need hosting on top of it. (I know the owner of godaddy if you have any questions, lol. He lives down the street from me.)

Domain names have to be registered in yearly blocks, so regstrars do not sell in monthly periods, should you terminate before the year's up.

I have heard of go daddy, but I have never used them or anything so I'm unfamiliar. Generally it works like this The domain is a yearly buy. Hosting, building, and working on the website is a monthly buy. You may be subject to setup and/or registration fees.

You don't have to buy hosting with it - you can redirect or frame it with another site. The fee is yearly.
