What art websites are you a member of? I try to join as many art websites as possible because it really helps to get my work out there and you never know who might see you. Please provide a brief (like one sentence or so) description of the site/s so others know what it's about and why they should join.

I'm on:

  • JPG Magazine, an online photographic magazine. You can submit your photos to get published. - scarlet23
  • NOISE.net, an Australian community for young artists. Lots of cash and other prizes available. - scarlet-rain
  • Flickr, a photography community. - scarlet-rain
  • DeviantART, a photography community. Slightly more professional than Flickr. - scarlet-rain
  • Photo.net, another photography community. - scarlet-rain
  • Worth1000.com, an art community best known for its competitions and its users' amazing photo manipulations - scarlet23
  • RadioAukiman, a small general forum board run by people in my city. They hold regular signature making and photography competitions. - scarlet-rain
  • Grand Inferno, a music, art, design and tutorial forum board. - scarlet-rain
  • PicPublisher.com, a photography website where users earn money for their feedback on other users' work. - Brooke O
  • Model Mayhem, probably the biggest and most well known modelling website around. Photographers, makeup artists, models, hair stylists, clothing designers, photoshop wizards and more can find each other with ease. - scarlet-rain
  • Uber, a free web design and hosting website. Use modules (e.g. comment boxes, slideshows) or custom HTML to create as many websites and as many pages as you like. Uber don't slap ads all over your pages like many other free web hosting sites do, either. - my profile or website

None yet. I probably will start looking into it though. But I want to do more paintings and finished pieces before putting anything else up.

redbubble.com should be on the list
Australian founded fine art site, but now they have bases in other places too. They allow you to post as much work as you like, and sell your work through them for free. You can make t-shirts and calendars there too.

It's not a typical art site per se, but on my website I have a section called "Everything's a Phallic Symbol" devoted to different photographs of... well.... phallic symbols.
