And if you know a lot of people with it you would realise that there is a huge diversity of people who don't all have the same difficulties. Personally, if there was a cure, I wouldn't want it. What right does it give you to change what makes them be who they are? just because it's some "disease." They are capable of learning, and socializing. I've seen it. It is not a disease. As for it being "unescassary" I don't really think that's the right word to use. My dad has a mild form of Aspergers, and he lives a totally normally life. I'm guessing your experience is with very, very mild autism.
