-- Posted by Heather14 at 1:52 pm on Nov. 25, 2004 I'm looking for opinions from American college students on the topic of discussion forums.  I am studying the ways people voice very strong opinioins on discussion forums about issues regarding language. 1) Do you feel that discussion forums allow you to express your "true" feelings about certain touchy issues that you would not generally voice in public? 2) Do you feel that Spanish is invading America?  why? No, because I tell it like it is.  If it pisses someone off I really don't give a hoot. 2. Yes & No.  I think it's good to know two languages.  But, I don't think being fluent should be necessary to have a job, etc. unless you're in a Spanish related field.  (Translator, Spanish teacher, etc.)
