I help people because when I needed advice badly, I didn't have it and hade to cope by myself. And that SUCKS. So I don't want that to happen to other people. If small problems can send me into a depression, big ones must be even worse for other people. I need to ease my conscience as well. Once in a while I find a post by someone that I immediately like (or someone that I like prior), and those are the people that I help more regularly than the above. When I (try to) help people with certain issues, it's generally because knowing that someone is feeling that rubbish is so terribly sad and I'd do anything to let them know that they're not alone, that someone can understand, that someone cares, and that there's still hope. Really though, I don't know why I try to help. It's not something I confine only to LiveWire - in all areas of my life I try to support people, so I guess I do it because it's just part of who I am. I hate helping myself, i cant bring myself to do it - but it makes me sad when i see others suffering and if i know i could do something to help, i will. Helping people has helped me to see a intense situation and seeing there is a way to get help.
