I've just been wondering, why is it frowned upon to type a member's username in an eHelp reply? If they're not marked anonymous, then all of LW can read them, and will automatically know who submitted the eHelp anyway. If it's anonymous... Well, not even mods can see who really submitted an anonymous eHelp, so that really can't apply here. So really, why's it frowned upon? Unless it's meant that you shouldn't use a member's real name. Other members with the same problem ready it, won't want it addressed to "Michael" or "Laura". To regular members I'm pretty sure that all eHelps are marked as "Member" and not usernames or anonymous. -- Posted by audrey820 at 2:11 am on Mar. 29, 2008 Cause they're put in the shared library without their username displayed. It just says "member."
