It alerted me to the presence of a Trojan Horse virus. Guess what it turned out to be? A corrupted zip file.

lol y virus checker goes off all the time idk what its called but like you said a zlighlty wrong zip file and it goes off

The only corrupted files Norton ever told me about were files that were corrupted during installation of Norton. Every time I restarted my computer, it would tell me to reinstall. I HATE NORTON
