My parents just had another baby and I want to be there and help out (since both have to work).

I live in a different town for university. The town they live in has no courses I could take (unless I wanted to do a trade). I am a Psych Major.

I wouldn't say I am failing school.. I just really don't have the drive for it that I did in my first year. My GPA is much lower than last year. I am the first kid to go to university in my family, so it's a big deal, and they always say how proud they are of me. My boyfriend moved with me and left a wicked job to support me here, but I just hate being here.

I am taking summer classes because I took a semester off last year, because I don't want to be behind or have my student loans go into interest but... I really want to just go back to my mistreating job and low pay so I can be with my family. I do not want to entirely drop out of school, but it's hard because I just want to go home.

What do you think I should do?

Well, the decision's really upto you, but I think you need to think about what you'd be giving up to be with your family. You'd be throwing away all your hard work at university and what your boyfriend did for you would be for nothing really.

However, at the end of the day it's your choice, and happiness is the most important thing. If I were you, I'd take a different course at a university a lot closer to home, so you're closer to your family and can help out with the baby, but so you don't have to throw away your future. Maybe your boyfriend could move with you again, even?

Good luck :)
