-- Posted by CrazyGuitaristGirl at 10:41 am on April 22, 2008 My bf is in a 1 act play with a bunch of our friends and it's led by a student director-Rob.  My bf is a senior and rob is a freshman...the only reason my bf ryan didn't have his own play is because he has wayyy too much to do this semester and he didn't even try out for rob's play.   While rob is the official director, he's been terribly rude to the entire cast, and while ryan has been developing everyone's character, rob claims these ideas as his own, and honestly he knows nothing about theater.   It's a lot worse than what I've just spoken about but it's more the attitude than anything else.  Rob claims to be a Christian but he knows NOTHING about humility...I even spoke with him about it today and he admitted that he knew about it but didn't feel like it would get him anywhere.....he thinks he's right about EVERYTHING and will 'correct' EVERYONE from other friends, other peers, older adults, and professors....even if there's cold, hard facts to back up the data.   He basically thinks he's God and a few weeks ago when a bunch of us went camping, driving on I-81, going 80+ mph, he 'threaded the needle' almost killing us all in the process!! Soo the past few days, it's been getting worse and worse and last night he tried to 'put ryan in his place'.....and thought he hurt ryans 'macho side' when in fact he just PISSED HIM OFF....so now ryan is trying INCREDIBLY HARD not to beat the living shit out of rob....Me and other people have explained to rob that he NEEDS to learn some humility and apologize to ryan and also watch his back....but he's said that he doesn't care if he gets beat up, he doesn't have time for it and it'll hurt but he's not afraid...... I'm working sooo hard to make sure ryan DOESN'T beat him up, cause he could in a heartbeat and he'd get kicked out, and might go to jail.....and ryan's trying but warning him, we're all warning rob and ryan called the theater director to come talk to rob and warned him as well....and in fact he's bringing his roommate to rehearsal tonight to make sure to pull ryan off of rob if rob pokes him in the chest again tonight..... I mean wtf is up with this guy rob?? Both are childish and ridiculous.  Choose your battles and this isn't one of them.
