Hello... I'm new to this site, but I have no one else to talk to. My dad has become a quadriplegic and will most likely never walk again. He got into a snowboarding accident in March and has been in a hospital ever since. Since I am away at college, i have no idea what is actually going on because my mom wants me to concentrate on my studies. It is really hard for me to not cry every second of the day. I try my best not to think about it and go on living life, but all that ends up doing is making me more upset. Not to mention, because my dad is so sick and injured he will not ever be able to come home. Oh and to make things worse, my family has to move out of our gorgeous home, because my mom can't support our family and the house without my dads income. Welcome to my life!

I was hoping maybe someone on here knows what i am going through... If not, oh well, at least i gave it a try right?

I don't, I'm sorry, but I really am sorry for your troubles.

My fiance was in a really bad car accident a couple of years ago where he broke his back - his doctors weren't sure if he'd ever be able to walk. Thankfully, he is able to, but it's a scary, scary thing to adjust to.

If you want to talk, feel free to PM me.

I don't really know what you're going through. But everything happens for a reason. Maybe in the end this will bring your family closer together. Best wishes.

I'm afraid I don't know what you're going through, but I do hope things get better for you. Just because things look down doesn't mean they always will be.
