There's a domain name I want. But it's already taken... All domains have an expiration, as you may know. And it tells you the exact second it will expire. Do domain registrars give you an expiration notice to renew it? Or is it done the second it's registered to expire?

they can buy it again

I typically renew mine a month or two in advance. If the owner isnt using it, try looking them up on WhoIS or ICAAN, and emailing them. They might be willing to sell it to you.

oh ya they can buy it again but maybe you can buy it from them? or make up a simular name for the domain name that you want.

Ehhh... Well... I sorta want that exact domain name. They probably won't want to sell it to me though, as their well known, and I'll probably get bombarded with e-mails to get me to sell it back to the original owner

i think your out of luck mate, usualy people wont sell there domains for a few dollars, your looking at a hefty price for that domain and its probably just as easy to get a different one, and probably a lot cheaper
