Interesting...  You are what you eat, so eat well.
A stupendous insight of civilizations past has now been confirmed by
today's investigative, nutritional sciences. They have shown that what
was once called "The Doctrine of Signatures" was astoundingly correct.

It now contends that every whole food has a pattern that resembles a
Body organ or physiological function and that this pattern acts as a
Signal or sign as to the benefit the food provides the eater.

Here is just a short list of examples of Whole Food Signatures.

A sliced Carrot looks like the human eye. The pupil, iris and radiating lines look just
Like the human eye...and YES science now shows that carrots greatly enhance blood flow to and function of the eyes.

A Tomato has four chambers and is red. The heart is red and has four Chambers. All of the research showstomatoes are indeed pure heart and blood food.

Grapes hang in a cluster that has the shape of the heart. Each grape looks like a blood cell and all of the
Research today shows that grapes are also profound heart and blood vitalizing food.

A Walnut looks like a little brain, a left and right hemisphere, upper
Cerebrums and lower cerebellums. Even the wrinkles or folds are on the nut just like the neo-cortex.We now know that walnuts help develop over 3 dozen neuro-transmitters
For brain function.

Kidney Beans actually heal and help maintain kidney function and yes, they look exactly like the
Human kidneys.

Celery, Bok Choy, Rhubarb and more look just like bones. These foods specifically target bone
strength. Bones are 23% sodium and these foods are 23% sodium. If you don't have enough
Sodium in your diet the body pulls it from the bones, making them weak. These foods replenish
the skeletal needs of the body.

Eggplant, Avocados and Pears target the health and function of
The womb and cervix of the female - they look just like these organs. Today's research
shows that when a woman eats 1 avocado a week, it balances hormones, sheds unwanted birth
Weight and prevents cervical cancers. And how profound is this? . it takes exactly 9 months to
Grow an avocado from blossom to ripened fruit. There are over 14,000 phytolytic chemical
Constituents of nutrition in each one of these foods (modern science has only studied and
named about 141 of them).

Figs are full of seeds and hang in twos when they grow. Figs increase the motility of male sperm
And increase the numbers of sperm as well to overcome male sterility.

Sweet Potatoes look like the pancreas and actually balance the
glycemic index of diabetics.

Olives assist the health and function of the ovaries

Grapefruits, Oranges, and other Citrus fruits look just like the mammary glands of the
female and actually assist the health of the breasts and the movement of lymph in and
out of the breasts.

Onions look like body cells.Todays research shows that onions help clear waste materials
>From all of the body cells They even produce tears which wash the epithelial layers of the eyes

Bananas, Cucumber, Zucchini and more target the size and
Strength of the male sexual organ. It's true!

Peanuts have a profound effect on the testicles and sexual libido. Peanuts were banned
As a food for males by the church often during the middle ages. Most people don't realize
that arginine, the main component of Viagra, comes from peanuts.

Discuss, tell me what you think about it.

I only put it on this forum because I didn't want any stupid answers.

Discuss, tell me what you think about it.

I think that anyone who says a sliced carrot looks like a human eye should eat more carrots.

It does...

...if you turn off the lights and squint and look at the other side of the room and know a lot of people with orange eyes.

Do you know what looks even more like a penis than a banana?

A Penis.

How the fuck does a grape resemble a blood cell, red or white?

I hope you realise that all fresh fruit and vegetables are good for your heart, blood and all the other organs in your body.

This stuff just makes me lol. They've managed to turn wartime propaganda into supported scientific evidence for intelligent design, eh?

Exactly. Eating healthily is good for you, but none of this "a banana resembles a Penis" nonsense.

Yeah, but the way I take is is that there is the whole idea that it is good for the whole body, but it's better for the parts of the body it "looks" like, or resembles.

-- Posted by The Samsoniteman at 3:54 pm on May 4, 2008

In that case you'd be wrong.

-- Posted by katiecat at 5:51 pm on May 4, 2008

Huh, interesting. Well, I like all those foods anyway, I don't really care what they help - I'm healthy, so that's fine.

Pretty sure that's a delicacy in the Rocky Mountains.

Yes I have heard that before. It is very interesting.

Actually its fried bull testicles that's the delicacy. They're called Rocky mountain Oysters or something like that.

-- Posted by Jaxie at 2:21 pm on May 14, 2008

Sure it's interesting, but I think a lot are stretched a bit. First of all, a lot of the foods are healthy and address a lot of other issues besides those they apparently resemble (though I honestly don't see all of the connections)

"A Tomato has four chambers and is red. The heart is red and has four Chambers. All of the research showstomatoes are indeed pure heart and blood food."

I believe tomatoes used to only have two chambers and were extremely small, way back before they were modified through selective breeding or what not. Thus going to prove how these are all stretched, though quite well, I must say.

Thus sausages are proven to help erectile dysfunction...?

Prairie oysters. I know this is a long time ago, but I just found this and that is they're proper name.

I'm from the prairies.

See, the problem with these 'theories' are.. They're pure bullshit.

Maybe we should have a pseudo-science forum.. Just for this sort of thing.
